Brokkr Steel works, where craftsmanship meets mythology in every piece we create. Our name, Brokkr, carries a rich story that reflects our dedication to producing strong, unique, and meticulously crafted metal items.
The inspiration behind our name came during a laid-back evening on the deck, sharing a few cold beers and brainstorming ideas for a name that would embody the essence of our work. We wanted something that resonated with strength, creativity, and a touch of Norse mythology.
After a lively discussion and a few more rounds of beers, we landed on Brokkr – one of the legendary dwarf brothers from Norse mythology. Brokkr, along with his brother Eitri, were renowned for their exceptional ironworking skills and were sought after by the Norse gods for their craftsmanship. They were the masterminds behind the creation of Thor's iconic hammer, Mjölnir.
The name Brokkr itself holds significant meaning, translating to "the one who works with metal fragments, blacksmith." It perfectly encapsulates our passion for working with metal and our commitment to crafting beautiful yet durable items that stand the test of time.
