We named it the 'Frankenstein Smoker' because it's made mostly from recycled materials, from the smoke chamber right down to the heat-proof glass panel that sits behind the Brokkr hammer cutout. The trailer, however, was designed and fabricated to fit around the smoker with all new materials.
" I've wanted to get into BBQ’ing for a while, and I had this rusty old tank in the yard I’d been eyeing up to build a smoker for the workshop. Being a fabricator, I didn’t want to buy a run-of-the-mill mass-produced smoker. I wanted to build my own, to my specs and ideas. We started with that old rusty tank, and it grew into something worthy to show at Meatstock."
